Popeye’s Satay Hut
Favourite was probably the beef rendang curry taco, the taco was delicious and the tortilla was soft and flaky. The satay chicken was also nice and worth a mention! The service was quick and friendly.

Lovely guy serving us who seemed nervous about the food...and rightly so.Unfortunately looked promising but was very average. Dry satay Pork Shoulder (Satay Sc was nice ), papaya salad stale, crispy potatoes were beautiful and crispy but no flavour at all and the sweet corn poppers were over cooked and very tough and chewy.The squid was beautiful however.Nice atmosphere but some very average cooking techniques really let this place down.

Friendly staff, I had the Fri lunch special of a beef rendang taco $10. So nice, soft yet slightly toasted taco shell, good beef rendang, lovely fresh vege elements with the bean sprouts adding a fresh crunchy aspect. Very nice, will definitely return for the Fri lunch special again.

Highly rate this bar for catching up with a small group for drinks and bites. Great food (small plates/tapas style) made with care and they do a mean cocktail (had a mojito and pina colada). Try the beef rendang taco's, prawn donuts, spring rolls and satay skewers.

Lovely meal with friends on Saturday. Food was excellent... don't miss the chicken satay, pork ribs, bean dip with roti (go for extra roti it's delicious) and the divine green prawn curry. The alcohol/wine was expensive but the cocktails seemed to be a hit.

Overpriced and misleading! Don’t go for the $10 lunch special. It’s too small to be a lunch menu! 6 of us had the chicken satay special and everyone had to buy shushi after that! They even skim on the rice. Definitely poor ethics.

Really tasty food and great service. The only issue for us is we thought it was overpriced for entree size servings. The chicken satay sticks were amazing but tiny, and 2 small rendang curry tacos.

Had some Satays and a Cobra Fang here.The satays were great with an almost perfect level of char. Chicken was tender, beef was moist. I’m definitely having more.

Oh dear, I really liked the idea of this concept and was genuinely excited to try. Food is below average - fish cakes embarrassingly so. $18 for a small bowl of slaw and Satays that are unseasoned meat on a stick with a good dollop of sauce. Ribs were shockers too. Such a shame. Could be so much better!
